New York Rush Hour Explosion

I took these shots last night while trying to make my way home. The perimeter of many blocks surrounding 41st Street was closed off from Park Ave to Third.

did they say what the actual cause was from? Reminds me somewhat of 9/11 even though it was not terrorism. These things are really scary.
