Northeast Thaw- Mild weather finally

northeast milder.jpg

Mild air finally returned to the Northeast after a month straight of below normal freezing temperatures. Later in the week, a storm will bring a chance of rain near the coast and snow inland. A few scattered snow showers are possible on Friday and Saturday before rain and possibly some ice (over western New York and northwestern Pennsylvania) moves in on Sunday. Temperatures around the region will be close to seasonal averages throughout the remainder of the week and into the weekend, with the coolest temperatures coming on Thursday.
